Frequently asked questions

What brands ask.

What is the MOQ for private label?
Orquídea Infusions' private-label MOQ varies by format and category. We offer different scales for tea bags, loose leaf, and special packaging such as tins and doypacks. Tell us about your project and we will confirm the exact figure for your category.
Who owns the blend formula?
The formula developed with each client belongs to the client, not Orquídea Infusions. We sign a confidentiality agreement before the technical brief and do not replicate blends for other clients or sell them under our own private label.
How long does it take to develop a private label from scratch?
Orquídea Infusions' typical private-label process takes 8–16 weeks from brief to first dispatch, depending on blend and packaging complexity. Steps: brief (1 week), blend development (2–3 weeks), testing and iterations (2–4 weeks), production and packaging (3–6 weeks).
What certifications can my product have?
A product developed with Orquídea Infusions may include an INVIMA sanitary registration and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) because it is produced in our facility. Additional certifications (organic, kosher, halal, ISO, fair trade) are assessed case by case based on the blend and ingredients.
Do you produce private label for export?
Yes. Orquídea Infusions develops private-label products for export to the United States and the region. We manage destination-country regulatory documentation (FDA, labeling, etc.) as part of the project.
What if I want to end our relationship?
We do not require long-term commitments or contracts for private label. If a client decides to produce with another manufacturer, the formula is theirs and they can take it with them. We only ask for reasonable notice to close active production in an orderly way.
